Plain-English version. The short version: pay your bill, don't abuse the platform, we'll keep your data safe, you can leave any time.

1. Who we are

SmartBoutique is operated by QuantumBytes, a software studio based in Punjab, India. When this document says "we", "us" or "the company", we mean QuantumBytes. When it says "you" or "the boutique", we mean the business that signs up for an account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you give your username and password to a staff member, anything they do is treated as your action. Use the in-app role system (Owner / Staff / Tailor) instead — it's more secure and gives them only what they need.

4. 30-day money-back guarantee

If SmartBoutique doesn't fit your boutique in the first 30 days of your first paid subscription, email [email protected] and we'll refund your money in full. No questions, no paperwork. We'd rather you leave happy than stay frustrated. After the first 30 days, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable; yearly subscriptions are refunded pro-rata for the unused months.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel any time from inside the app or by emailing us. There is no contract, no lock-in, no cancellation fee. After cancellation, your data remains accessible for export for 60 days, then is permanently deleted.

7. Uptime & outages

We aim for 99.5%+ uptime and ship hot-fixes for outages within hours. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. We do not currently offer SLA credits — if uptime becomes a critical concern for you, talk to us about an Enterprise SLA.

8. Your data ownership

The data you put into SmartBoutique (customers, orders, photos, finances) belongs to you. We are a custodian — we do not sell it, do not use it to train AI models, do not share it with third parties for marketing. See the Security page for details on how it's protected.

9. Limitations

SmartBoutique is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but cannot guarantee zero bugs. Our maximum liability for any issue is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months. We strongly recommend keeping your own periodic exports as a backup of last resort.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material (e.g. pricing, refund policy), we'll email you and post a notice in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Punjab, India.
