Customers → Add Customer (top right). Enter name + 10-digit phone. Photo and measurements are optional and can be added later. The customer's khata page is created automatically.

Orders → New Order. Pick a customer (or 'Quick add' a new one), choose Product Sale / Work Only / Product+Work / Custom, add work tasks, set the due date, and save. The order number is auto-generated as ORD/YYYY/NNNN.

Open the order → Download invoice (PDF) → Send Confirmation. The customer receives a pre-filled WhatsApp message; you attach the PDF in WhatsApp itself. Works on Android and iPhone.

On any order item, tap the Unassigned chip on a task → pick a tailor. The tailor sees their tasks the moment they log in. They mark each task Start → Done. You can mark a finished task for Rework if needed.

Two ways: from the customer page tap Collect Payment, or from inside an order tap Record Payment. The customer's khata balance updates instantly and a payment row is logged.

Settings → Reminders → set Reminder lead days (default 3). Customers with a balance get listed in the dashboard and you can send them a one-tap WhatsApp reminder.

Yes — open the order, tap Print. The invoice opens in a new tab and goes straight to the printer. You can also download as PDF and share via WhatsApp.

Yes — automatic daily backups of your database and all uploaded photos, retained for 30 days. We can restore your tenant in under an hour if anything goes wrong.

Is my data safe?
Every boutique has its own isolated tenant — your customers, orders and finances are never visible to anyone else. We back up the database daily and use bank-grade encryption in transit.
Do customers get an app or login?
No, customers don't log in anywhere. SmartBoutique is owner-only. You communicate with customers via WhatsApp directly — we just generate the right message for one-tap sending.
Do I need internet always?
Yes, the app needs internet because your data is in the cloud. But it's built mobile-first and works on a basic 4G signal. No special hardware needed.
Can I bill GST?
Yes — both regular GST (CGST + SGST or IGST for inter-state) and composition scheme. Invoice numbering, HSN codes and GSTR-1 export are all built in.
What if I have multiple shops?
Each shop is a separate tenant. Enterprise plan allows you to centrally view multiple boutiques. Talk to us about custom multi-location setup.
Can I migrate from my current software?
Yes. We can import customers + measurements from Excel or your existing system during onboarding. Email [email protected].
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No contract. Pay monthly. Cancel any time from your settings. Take an export of your data on the way out.
Do you support Hindi / Punjabi?
The interface is in English (boutique owners told us they prefer it for business apps), but customer-facing WhatsApp messages support full Hindi / Punjabi / English templates that you can customize.
